And to cabin 8-14 she goes, with a sapphire necklace in her pocket. It's not like there's much else to do on this dumb boat, so why delay? It's not long before she's knocking at Phasma's door, pulling the necklace out to hold up once the door opens.

Phasma takes the chain from her hands, peering at it. It's not like she
doesn't know what jewelery is - she's visited the kinds of places where
the locals drape themselves in expensive rocks and think it makes them more
appealing somehow - but that kind of adornation is not pursued in the First
Order. And back at Parnassos, the skins and feathers and mask she wore
were about making her look more fearsome. Harder to read.
"I can incorporate the stones into my armor," is the decision she comes
to. The chain will be annoying.
Selina doesn't grin often - she's a champion of the small smirk, really - but she grins now. It makes her look her age, under the front of hardened street rat she puts on. She would have settled for an 'it's okay,' so this is basically a triumph.
"You can probably break the chain if you need to. I don't think it's real silver." But she is reasonably sure that the stones are real sapphires, or at least, real some-other-expensive-blue-stone-she-intends-to-know-more-about. "How are you gonna incorporate them?"
